Marie Claire Magazine released a comprehensive, multi‑part series examining the role of women and firearms in America. Teachers Unify is proud to be highlighted in this series’ powerful piece, “No Teacher Left Behind: Mass shootings continue to happen in classrooms at alarming rates. Will the educators ever be alright?”
The reporter spoke with multiple Teachers Unify leaders from our Crisis Intervention and Support Ambassador teams and students. It takes a deep look at the fear and impact of gun violence on school communities and how we’re committed to turning our fears and experiences into action for change.
