Project Lockdown

Back to school should be a time of excitement and possibility for teachers, kids, and families. Instead, we find ourselves in a time of great anxiety around safety from gun violence.
Teachers Unify teamed up with Preston Spire, a Minneapolis ad agency, to launch #ProjectLockdown — a campaign to amplify the life-saving act of locking up firearms. Educators are trusted messengers and have a respected platform to help improve practices and save lives.
#ProjectLockdown because “gun locks save friends.”
#ProjectLockdown because 2/3 of school shooters get their firearm from home or a friend/family member.
#ProjectLockdown because 4.6 million kids live in homes with at least one unlocked and loaded firearm.
